Diarrhea is defined by the World Health Organization as having three or more loose or liquid stools per day, or as having more stools than is normal for that person.

Acute diarrhea is most commonly due to viral gastroenteritis , bacterial infections , various toxins and drugs.

Chronic diarrhea can be common caused by ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, microscopic colitis, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndromeand bile acid malabsorption.

How does acupuncture work for Diarrhea
